Low2HighDH is an EU-funded project focused on decarbonizing high-temperature district heating systems across 30 sites in Lithuania, Poland, and Slovakia. It supports local authorities and heat network operators in deploying low-grade and waste heat technologies, launching supplier tenders, and building stakeholder capacity. The website was developed for Europroject, the project’s lead coordinator, with DomGrid acting as their digital implementation partner. DomGrid is responsible for the website development, multilingual architecture, technical implementation, hosting, and ongoing support.

Проучване и Анализ
We worked as Europroject’s technical partner to define and implement the digital infrastructure for Low2HighDH. As part of this process, we reviewed existing EU-funded energy platforms to evaluate how they manage multilingual content, publish procurement materials, and structure complex timelines. Based on Europroject’s requirements, we designed a backend logic and content architecture focused on clarity, scalability, and long-term maintainability by their internal team.
Стратегия
- Build a Language-Ready Framework: Implement a multilingual structure with support for English, Lithuanian, Polish, and Slovak, using a system that allows content updates without duplicating layouts.
- Develop Custom Post Types: Create backend modules for news, events, deliverables, and RFQs to streamline editing and keep layouts consistent.
- Optimize File Management: Make it easy to upload and display PDFs with proper titles and metadata across the Deliverables and Procurement sections.
- Structure for Growth: Design landing pages and page templates that accommodate new work packages, countries, or events as the project scales.
- Ensure Platform Stability: Use a secure, monitored hosting environment to support high uptime and performance over the project period.
Изпълнение
- Начална фаза: We installed and configured WordPress with multilingual support, custom post types, and user roles adapted to Europroject’s editorial workflow.
- Разработка: We implemented the approved visual design provided by Europroject and developed templates for each section to support structured content entry and responsive layout behavior.
- Тестване за съвместимост и надеждност: We tested language switching, file downloads, and content modules across devices and browsers to ensure consistent performance and accessibility.
- Издаване: After content entry and review by Europroject, we handled deployment, domain setup, SSL configuration, and training for their editorial team.
Дългосрочна поддръжка и съдействие
- Technical Maintenance: We continue to manage core updates, plugin compatibility, and server security throughout the duration of the project.
- Hosting and Monitoring: The site is hosted in a monitored environment with automated backups, uptime tracking, and performance alerts.
- Облужване: Our team remains available to Europroject for technical assistance, content structure improvements, and additional feature implementation as needed.
