Client Overview
EQ Academy Varna is a hands-on workshop for building children’s social and emotional skills and mental health, founded by Desislava Hristanova. It runs weekly play-based workshops in 6 age groups from 3 to 18, personalised workshops, open lessons with parents and events.
Client’s Challenge
- A new topic for many parents: emotional intelligence had to be explained simply and convincingly.
- Different programmes, each with its own goals and format.
- A growing academy: the site had to grow with new programmes and events.

Strategy and Solution
Research and Analysis
We organised content around parents’ questions: what EQ is, which programme fits which age, how a workshop works and how to sign up.
Strategy
We launched the site in 2022 and grew it in 2023 with a new visual identity, a page for every age group and an original photo shoot.
Implementation
- Design and build with Astra Pro and Elementor Pro in red, yellow and blue, the colours of the new logo.
- 6 age-based programmes from 3 to 18, each with its own page.
- Personalised workshops page.
- Events: a calendar and tickets for events such as EQ Evening.
- Forms for sign-ups, enquiries and newsletter with Fluent Forms Pro.
- Original photography from the academy.
Ongoing Maintenance and Support
DomGrid hosts and maintains the site and keeps adding new photos, programmes and events.
